Friday School is this Friday from 8 am until noon in Mrs. Dixon's math room for 6th through 12th grade students. This is an opportunity for students to get extra support. If you would like your child to attend, please contact the office. If they are failing a class, we would like to see them here.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to help your child navigate being safe on the internet. We will have babysitting available from our National Honor Society. We hope you will mark your calendars and come learn with us. May 9th is the date, from 6:30 - 8:30 in the MPR.

We are thankful for the opportunity to have Detective Richard Wistocki visiting our school on Tuesday, May 9th. He is speaking to our middle school students at 9 a.m., our high school students at 10:30, and will be doing a parent presentation about Keeping Our Kids Cyber Safe at 6:30 p.m. in the MPR. Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 4th at 6:00 p.m. for the high school award's banquet, which will take place in the middle school gym. This year will be Hawaiian themed, so feel free to dress appropriately. Freshmen and sophomores, please bring a side dish, juniors and seniors, please bring a dessert. The school will provide plates, etc., as well as the meat and a potato dish. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate our high school students.

This is a reminder that there will not be school for students on Thursday, April 27th. The staff are partaking in professional development on this day. If you have any questions, please contact the school.

The halibut feed is Saturday, April 22nd. Tickets are on sale now for $30 for a halibut meal, or $5 for a hotdog meal. Please call the office to get your tickets. Good morning Badger families. This Thursday, school will be released at noon and buses will run at 12:15. We have parent/teacher conferences from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Conferences for our elementary, will be in elementary classrooms, and for our middle and high schoolers, teachers will be in the cafeteria. We also have conferences on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Please make sure you check out the art show, which will be in the middle school gym, as well as the Go-Stem trailer, which will be on campus. Students have worked hard with all of these events. We look forward to seeing you here.

There is NO SCHOOL in North Powder School District for SPRING BREAK from March 27-31. Have a safe and wonderful break! School resumes on Monday, April 3rd.

Come join in on the fun, this Thursday, March 16th at 6:00 p.m. to create your own DIY succulent planter. This is a fundraiser for the middle school home economics class. Check out the flyer, and reach out to Mrs. Street if you have any questions. This looks like fun!

There will be a track meeting for all 6-12th graders parents on Wednesday, March 15th at 6:00 p.m. This meeting will be in Mrs. Dixon's math classroom. This meeting is for parents who have students who are involved in track, or plan on being involved. Go Badgers!

Middle school track athletes have the option of joining in with the high school practice starting tomorrow, March 13th. Practice will run from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.. This is optional only. Our plan is to have practice for all interested in middle school track, to start during seventh period on Monday, March 20th.

March 6 - 10 is Classified School Employees Week. North Powder School District thanks all of our classified employees working hard every day to provide safe schools, nutritious meals, student success and so much more!
